How to maintain tractor tires
1. Adjust the pressure of tractor tires correctly
Air pressure has a great influence on the service life of tires. Low air pressure causes large deformation of the tire body, which makes the curtain layer easy to break off and peel off. High air pressure, especially in the summer heat, often easy to cause tire explosion. According to the investigation shows that in terms of front tire damage, some front tire damage is often caused by insufficient or too high air pressure.
To ensure the correct air pressure, we should pay attention to the work: (1) often use a barometer to check the tire pressure, the error should be less than 0.02 mpa, the general agricultural tire pressure value of 0.20-0.25 mpa; (2) According to the different temperature, the amount of heat expansion and cold contraction should be set aside when punching; (3) often check whether the valve core is running, whether the tread has nails and sharp stones, etc.
2. The tractor ensures a reasonable load
Tires that are overworked can cause rapid damage, especially trailer tires. So when considering the normal load of tires, 80% ~ 90% of the load is appropriate, prohibit overload. Such as the 6.00-16 tire, its load is 550 kg, if often exceeded this load work, the service life will be shortened about 1/2. Moreover, the tractor is overloaded, and there is a serious problem.
3. Correct positioning of tractor tire front wheel
The main reason for the change of tractor front wheel positioning is improper installation and adjustment, and the wear and tear of some parts. After localization damage, it not only affects walking and steering, but also causes tire deflection and early scrap.
To make the front wheel correctly positioned, should do: (1) often according to the provisions for inspection and adjustment; ② The steering joint should be repaired or replaced in time after wear; (3) regularly check whether the wheel nuts and bolts are tightened, whether the bearing is loose, etc. ④ After the deformation of the front beam and half shaft, it should be corrected in time.
4. Precautions in tractor operation
Tractor driving, in strict compliance with traffic laws and regulations and operating procedures, as far as possible to do the following aspects, in order to extend the service life of tires. The main is to do the start, stop smoothly, less use the brake, adhere to the speed of driving, pay attention to the choice of road surface, do not drive at high speed on the uneven road surface. Try to avoid tire abnormal deformation, impact and other wear and damage. At the same time, the left and right tires should be the same pressure, the new and the new, so as to avoid partial grinding. If wear is not uniform, the left and right tires can be used. When replacing a new tire, it should be replaced in pairs on the same shaft.
5. Custody of tractor tires
Often tire stolen goods, tire as far as possible not to stick on oil, acid or alkali and other corrosive substances, to prevent tire aging. After parking, try to avoid the tire wind, sun, rain, parked in a dry garage. Idle parking, the tire should be supported, so as not to cause local deformation of the tire. The preservation time of the tire should not be too long (such as more than 2 years), otherwise it will shorten the life.
