The type of plow can be divided into traction plow, hanging plow and semi-hanging plow according to the way of hooking with the tractor.
The structure of the traction plow is mainly composed of working parts such as plow body, small front plow, and coulter, and auxiliary components such as traction device, walking wheel, plow frame, mechanical or hydraulic lifting mechanism, adjusting mechanism, and safety device. It is connected to the tractor at a single point, and the tractor's hooking device only has a traction effect on the plow. The plow itself is supported by three plow wheels. When plowing the land, mechanical or hydraulic mechanisms are used to control the height of the ground wheel relative to the plow body to achieve the purpose of controlling the depth and level of plowing. The traction plow has the advantages of stable tillage depth and width, and good operation quality, but its structure is more complicated and its mobility is poor. It is generally used in conjunction with high-power tractors.
