The radiator screen is blocked
The radiator filter is covered by dust and straw accumulation, which will affect the heat dissipation of the water tank. If not handled in time, the water temperature of the engine will be too high.
Processing method
The suction port is a device for drawing in cooling air. When there is garbage accumulation on the intake, stop the engine and dust it with a soft brush. Open the driver's seat hood and remove the garbage on the hood. Dust off any rubbish on the radiator filter.
Treatment method for excessive water temperature of harvester engine
Do not shut off the engine immediately after the engine water temperature alarm, reduce the throttle idle operation, until the water temperature alarm light is off before shutting off the engine. Check the dust filter and radiator, and remove garbage with a soft brush. Clean the air filter and the front filter at the same time. At the same time, the heat sink of the main water tank should also be cleaned with compressed air.
Insufficient cooling water
Insufficient cooling water may cause damage to the water tank when cleaning, or the water plug is not tightened, resulting in water leakage and insufficient cooling water, resulting in high engine water temperature. In addition, the loosening of the cooling water pipe clamp or the aging and rupture of the water pipe will cause water leakage. If the engine is not found in time, it will cause great damage.
Processing method
Note: after high temperature, the main water tank cover can not be opened in the engine operation and just stop, otherwise hot water spurts out, causing burns. Should idle for about 30 minutes, confirm the cooling of the water tank and then check.
Check the water tank, if damaged, please replace the water tank in time, but also check the water pipe and clamp, if there is aging, please replace as soon as possible. Open engine compartment cover and check subtank water level. The cooling water in the auxiliary water tank should be between FULL and LOW, and the pure water should be added from the inlet of the auxiliary water tank. Also check for leaks.
Coolant replacement
(1) Remove the engine compartment cover, remove the drain plug, and empty the water in the radiator.
(2) Remove the cover of the main water tank and flush the garbage and rust with clean water.
* When injecting detergent mixed with radiator cleaning fluid, the engine should be idled for 15 minutes before draining the water, so that the radiator will be cleaner.
(3) Install the drain plug, add the necessary amount of antifreeze, and then fill with pure water.
