Chainsaw is a kind of breaking equipment, according to the function and drive mode can be divided into motor chain saw, non-motor chain saw, concrete chain saw and so on.
2 Precautions
1. Check saw chain tension frequently. Turn off engine and wear protective gloves when checking and adjusting. When the tension is appropriate, the chain can be pulled by hand while hanging under the guide plate.
2. A little oil must always spill from the chain. Every time before work must check the saw chain lubrication and oil tank oil level. The chain can not work without lubrication. If the chain is dry, the cutting device will be damaged.
3. Don't use old oil. Old oil does not meet the lubrication requirements and is not suitable for chain lubrication.
4. If the oil level in the tank does not decrease, there may be a failure in the lubrication delivery. Should check the chain lubrication, check the oil circuit. Passing through contaminated screens can also lead to poor supply of lubricating oil. The lubricating oil strainer in the tank and pump connection line should be cleaned or replaced.
5. After replacing and installing the new chain, the chain sawing needs 2 to 3 minutes of run-in time. Check the chain tension after run-in and adjust it if necessary. New chains need to be tensioned more often than those that have been used for a while. In the cold state, the chainsaw must be attached to the lower part of the guide, but the chainsaw can be moved on the upper guide by hand. Tighten the chain if necessary. When the operating temperature is reached, the saw chain expands and sags slightly. The transmission joint under the guide plate cannot be removed from the chain slot, otherwise the chain will jump ship and need to be re-tensioned.
6. The chain must be relaxed after work. The chain will shrink as it cools, and unrelaxed chains can damage crankshafts and bearings. If the chain is tensioned while working, then the chain will shrink when cooling, and too tight the chain will damage the crankshaft and bearings.
Use of oil products
Chainsaws use gasoline, engine oil, and chainsaw chain oil:
1. You can only use unleaded gasoline above grade 90. When adding gasoline, the cover of the tank and around the refueling port must be cleaned before refueling to avoid debris entering the tank. The high saw should be placed on a flat spot with the tank cap facing up. Don't spill gasoline when filling up, and don't overfill the tank. After refueling, make sure to tighten the tank cap by hand.
2 oil can only use two stroke engine oil, to ensure that the engine has a long service life, do not use ordinary four stroke engine. When using other two stroke engine oils, the type shall be of tc class quality. Poor quality gasoline or oil can damage the engine, seals, oil passages, and fuel tank.
3 gasoline and oil mixing ratio: the use of high-branch saw engine special two-stroke engine oil is 1∶50, that is, 1 oil and 50 gasoline; Using other tc grade engine oils is 1:25, which is 1 part oil to 25 parts gasoline. The mixing method is to fill a fuel tank with oil and then gasoline, and mix well. Gasoline oil mixture will age, the general configuration of not more than a month's use. Special attention should be paid to avoid direct contact between gasoline and skin, and avoid breathing gas volatilized from gasoline.
4. The use of chainsaw chain lubricating oil, keep the lubricating oil not lower than the oil level, to reduce the wear of the chain and sawtooth. Because chainsaw lubricating oil will be discharged into the environment, ordinary lubricating oil is petroleum-based, non-degradable, will pollute the environment, it is recommended to use degradable environmental chainsaw oil as far as possible, many developed countries have hard and fast regulations on this to avoid environmental pollution.
