Main functions of rice harvesting machinery
The main function of the harvester (windrower) is to cut down rice plants and spread them in strips in the field. This machine has simple structure, light body, convenient transfer, easy to use and maintenance, but low efficiency, high labor intensity, the loss of rice is also large.
The semi-feeding combine holds the base of the stem of the rice plant with the clamping chain and only makes the panicle of the rice plant enter the threshing device for threshing. Therefore, less power is consumed when threshing, and the integrity of the stem can be maintained. However, this model is not very productive.
Full feed combine harvester is to cut the rice plant spike together with the stem all feed into the threshing device, this type of higher productivity, strong adaptability to crops.
No matter half feed type or full feed type combine harvester, are more or less using automatic adjustment device, monitoring instrument and hydraulic device, thus improving the machine performance, improve the driver (agricultural) working conditions. Due to combine harvester cutting, threshing, net grain and other operations in the field one-time completion, high degree of mechanization, good quality of operation, can improve labor productivity, in the busy season can be timely and fast harvest, to ensure increased production and income. But combine harvester structure is more complex, higher cost, use and maintenance need higher technology, therefore, should be based on the local rural economy and technical level to choose the use. Preparation for mechanical harvesting
Before harvesting, the natural height of rice plant, lodging degree, yield per mu, soil moisture content, soil mud depth and transfer channel should be investigated to determine whether it is suitable for mechanical harvesting. When harvesting, the need to cut the road should be opened in advance, a small number of serious lodging should be manually cut before harvesting. Check whether the parts of the harvester are well fastened and whether the mechanism is flexible. Before formal harvesting, trial cutting, inspection and adjustment of the working parts of the harvester should be done to make the working quality meet the requirements. The harvester supporting the walking tractor should be reasonably configured, so that the harvesting end is slightly heavy. The engine exhaust pipe should be installed with a safe spark collector to prevent fire accidents.
Notes for harvesting operation
Before operation, let the harvester idling from low speed to high speed for 1~3 minutes, confirm no fault and then operation. When working in the field, we should walk in a straight line, not left and right, because the cutting table will miss cutting when turning sharply. After rain or morning dew, wait for the rain and dew dry before harvesting. Work, to do a good job of safety preparation, comply with the operating procedures, if found fault, should stop immediately, cut off the power, and then check and eliminate.
Why do conveyor belts often fall off
The main problem that the conveyor belt often falls off is that the two adjusting bolts of the passive wheel have different adjusting lengths, which makes the belt tilt. Another reason is the deformation of the pulley. For the first reason, adjust the passive pulley to the correct position and run horizontally. If it belongs to the belt pulley deformation, it is necessary to correct or replace the new belt pulley.
