Arrangement And Installation Of Rotary Tiller Blade

Jul 15, 2022

Before rotary tillage operation, the arrangement and installation of rotary tillage knife is an important work. Improper installation will seriously affect the quality of operation, and due to the unbalanced rotation of the blade, it will lead to damage to parts and increase of vibration of the unit, and it is not safe. In order to avoid tillage leakage and blockage during operation of rotary cultivator, uniform force on cutter shaft, and the arrangement and configuration of blades on the cutter shaft should meet the following requirements:

1. With more than two blades, the same amount of soil should be cut to achieve good quality of broken soil and smooth ditch bottom after ploughing.

2. During the rotation of the cutter shaft, one knife must be put into the ground at the same phase Angle to ensure the stability of the work and the uniform load of the cutter shaft.

3. For the successively buried blades, the greater the axial distance on the shaft of the blade, the better to avoid clogging.

4. Left-bend and right-bend blades should be staggered as far as possible to balance the bearing forces at both ends of the cutter shaft. Generally, blades are arranged in a regular spiral line.

There are three ways to install the rotary blade:

1. Interior packing. When installing, all blades are facing the center of the knife shaft, and the ground is raised in the middle after ploughing.

2. Exterior decoration. In addition to the most external end of the two blades installed inside, the rest of the blades are all installed outside, after ploughing, the ground is concave in the middle.

3. Mixed packing method. The inner and outer blades are staggered, and the surface is smooth after ploughing.
