On June 10, National Agricultural and Rural Information Center System Smart Agriculture Construction Experience On-site Exchange Meeting was held in Wuhu City, Anhui Province, to implement the major decisions and arrangements of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee on the construction of smart agriculture, exchange experience and promote typical examples. We made a good start in promoting smart agriculture and digital rural development throughout the country during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.
The meeting stressed that building smart agriculture is an inevitable outcome of the accelerated development of modern information technology. Based on the new stage of development, the new concept of development and the new pattern of development should be implemented, and smart agriculture and digital countryside should be planned and promoted in the building of a cyber power, a digital China and a smart society. We should aim at the general goal of agricultural modernization, speed up the digitalization of agricultural industry and improve the intelligent level of agricultural production. Efforts should be made to strengthen the construction of data resources and lay a solid foundation for smart agriculture. To adhere to the problem oriented, build application scenarios, to ensure that the actual results.
